From January 1994 to May 1997, I was attending Rowan University. First to finish up my Bachelor's degree in Geography with a minor in both Mathematics and Eastern Philosophy. And then my Master's degree in Marketing and Public Relations with a minor in Environmental Education.

For the final year of my Master's degree I was awarded a Graduate Assistantship. Which meant some of my tuition would be paid by the college in exchange for working there part-time. My job was running the broadcast training program for new students. Which up to then, had basically centered on the rules of the station and how to operate the equipment. But I added several other components to enhance their broadcasting skills so they'd be more likely to get hired by a radio station after college.

The Dean of Communications learned of the training program I created. And upon graduating from Rowan University hired me as an adjunct professor, teaching the radio portion of the university's Radio-Television-Film major.

Through all this I continued as a Disc Jockey at WXPN, which graciously found ways around my college schedule to keep me on the air. Which is where I received a phone call leading me to B101's Soft Rock ...
